Hewwest is Committed to Building a Brighter Future with a Net Zero Philosophy

Day after day, we are faced with the hard-hitting realities of environmental catastrophes; floods, fires, and earthquakes are tearing down infrastructure, destroying bustling communities, and impacting economic health on a global level. Instead of operating from a place of fear, we will move forward from a place of action.

In order for all of us to live in a healthy world, we believe that we all have to commit to greener solutions and investing for good. With plentiful opportunities for ESG investing, as well as commitments our business can make to going net zero, Hewwest has a long list of ways we plan to shape a better future.

In 2023, we outlined a plan to go net zero as a company. This means reducing our carbon footprint, investing in the planet, and bolstering sustainable portfolio options for our clients. We care about the planet because we care about the people we serve and the people we love, and our refreshed approach to sustainable operations will create a better outcome for all of us.

Although it can be intimidating to put funds in a lesser-known investment category, such as ESG stocks or funds, only 13% of global investors see ESG as a “passing fad,” according to Capital Group. Investing for good is here to stay, and we are the experts that are equipped to help our clients navigate this landscape as we work internally to reduce our footprint and advance sustainable initiatives.
